Aakash Tablet is the world’s cheapest tablet for Indian students. Ubislate7 launched by Datawind in India. The student version of tablet is named as Aakash tablet.

There are two versions of Aakash Tablet - Ubislate7 and Ubislate7+. The Ubislate7+ is an upgraded version of Aakash tablet.

Pre-booking of Aakash Ubislate7 tablet is closed now. It was featured with Arm11 – 366Mhz microprocessor, 2100 mAh battery, Android 2.2 OS and WiFi network. Aakash Ubislate7 was priced at Rs. 2500. The version of Aakash Tablet has been sold out.

Now, there are upgraded versions of Aakash Tablet. It is known as Ubislate7+. It is featured with Cortex A8 – 700 Mhz microprocessor, 3200 mAh battery, Android 2.3 OS and WiFi & GPRS (SIM & Phone functionality) network. Aakash Ubislate7+ Tablet is priced at Rs. 2999 in Indian market.
